Becoming A Member
We make our Membership Book available for signing three times each year. Those eligible to sign include:
- High school youth who have completed our "Coming of Age" Program or its equivalent, and
- Men and women who have attended the required "Membership Prep Class," have participated in the life of the church for at least 3 months, are in agreement with our Covenant, and are prepared to commit themselves to the mission, work, and faith of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva.
While attendance at our "New UUs" Orientation Program is not mandatory for membership, it is strongly recommended.
“The Book” contains the names of all those individuals since 1842 who have built and cared for and worked for the dreams of this Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. Copies of the pages of this Book make up the base of our Sanctuary Chalice.
We ask that you sign this Book only when your heart and mind and convictions are in harmony that it is indeed the right decision for you.
If you’d more information about being a member of UUSG, please contact our Welcoming Team.
