The Communications Team connects UUSG members & friends to each other and the world at large. We are responsible for gathering information on upcoming UUSG events and then finding the best ways to communicate the details to our congregation and, when appropriate, to the community.
We promote brand consistency to help build public confidence in our church and so all communication from UUSG has a common look, feel, and tone.
In addition to the Pioneer, Mini-Pioneer, and website, we regularly send press releases to local newspapers, create and distribute event flyers around the community, and help UUSG committees create brochures for their events.
We welcome involvement at any level, so talk to us if you'd like to join the Team or become an occasional contributor.
