WomenSpiritRising is a women's spirituality group, and adult women are invited to join our circle. We come together, seeking the feminine face of the divine, & celebrating the Goddess in us all. We are daughters, sisters, & mothers – sharing the common bond of womanhood. Working with one or two others, we take turns planning gatherings in which we reconnect with our pagan roots while witnessing and honoring our contemporary journeys.
Our meetings begin with a short meditative period of silence; we then create our circle of sacred space. After a brief check-in, we explore the topic of the evening, which may range from the energies of nature, to understanding the sacred feminine in different cultures, to seasonal rituals. We occasionally meet off-site for specific outings, social events, and celebrations.
Throughout the year, our welcoming circle engages in many and varied activities, including sharing poems and readings, chanting & singing, dance, drumming, celebrating phases of the moon, walking a labyrinth, partaking in the Pagan holidays of Beltane and Samhain, and Winter Solstice.
