Welcoming Congregations Renewal Program Meeting. Sunday, November 10, 9:30-10:45 am. We invite you to participate in helping to make our church more inclusive and welcoming to LGBTQ+ folk. Interweave will lead this effort but welcoming is the business of the whole congregation and cannot be left to our small Interweave group. Some areas we will explore are: educating ourselves; nurturing dialogue for deeper trust and right relationships; addressing bias at UUSG; outreach; and practical ideas like building a LGBTQ library and washroom signs etc. Please review this website so you will be familiar with the UUA requirements to be more bold and inclusive: uua.org/lgbtq/welcoming/program/five-practices-welcome-renewal.
