Wednesday, May 27th through Saturday, May 30th (Specifics below)

No, we’re not swapping kids!  Do you have clothes your kids have outgrown or that they no longer wear?  How about games and toys that are no longer played with, or books no longer being read?  Are there things you need for your kids but haven’t had the time or money to go out and get them?  We have a solution!

Join us for a kids’ swap where we can all bring our no longer needed kids’ clothes, games, toys, and books so they can be used by others.  You will also be able to pick things you can use.  Items brought can only be things used by infants through teens.

If you have décor or items such as cribs, strollers, highchairs, etc. that you are looking to remove from your household, we ask that you take a picture of them and bring the picture, along with your contact information, to us.  We will have a binder available to display these items so that anyone interested in them can talk to you about them.  We will not have space for these items so please do not bring them.

Specifics:

  • All items are free.  This swap is to help us reuse kids’ items we are no longer needing and are looking to donate.  If there are kids’ things you prefer to sell, bring a picture and price along with your contact information and we will post it in the binder so others can see it and contact you if they are interested.

  • Drop-off: Wednesday, May 27th from 4 -9 PM or Thursday, May 28th from 10 AM to 9 PM – Bring your kids’ items to the UUSG Common Room.

  • Browse: Thursday and Friday, May 28th and 29th from 4 – 9 PM and Saturday, May 30th from 8 AM – 1 PM – Come in to browse and find some great stuff!

  • On Saturday, May 30th at 1 PM, the swap is over.  All items left will be boxed and donated to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet at 916 1st St., Batavia.

  • Volunteers are appreciated to assist with sorting, staffing, and boxing.
