Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans
Household & Personal Care Item Donations 

 In recognition of Memorial Day this year, the UUSG Veteran’s Group and Social Justice Team will support the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans (MSHV) in Wheaton by collecting a variety of household and personal care items for 60 veterans (50 men and 10 women). The collected items will then be packaged by the UUSG Veterans Group and distributed to the veterans at MSHV.

If you would like to help, please consider donating any of these items:

·  Toilet Paper Rolls

·  Paper Towel Rolls

·  Toothbrush

·  Toothpaste

·  Bar Soap

·  Deodorant

·  Bodywash

·  Shampoo

·  Disinfectant Wipes

·  Laundry Pods

·  Kitchen Trash Bags

·  Hand Wipes

·  Pairs of socks

·  Razors

·  Mouthwash

·  Kleenex

Please bring items from the above list to the Common Room no later than Tuesday, May 27. On May 28 UUSG veterans will take the materials to the shelter and pack them for needy families.
