Neurodiversity is the concept that neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia are natural variations in the human genome, rather than deficits or disorders to be cured. It promotes the idea that there is no single "right" way for a brain to function, and encourages acceptance of diverse thinking, learning, and behavioral styles.
If you are interested in this topic or consider yourself or members of your family neurodivergent please reach out to the UUSG staff as we build a Neurodiversity Group designed to educate, celebrate, and support these differences.
