Green Sanctuary - Chasing Spring Ephemerals!
Wander the wilds of Kane County Forest Preserves while there is nothing there to see. Who would do that?
We would. This was our most popular program last year.
Take a walk in the woods, maybe one you've never visited before, and keep an eye out for the first flowers of spring.
Take a photo and note the location and date and send it to Bill Koehl (greensanctuary@uusg.org). We will get these posted on our Facebook page.
March is already over. Spring came last week! Are we too late?
Not by a long shot. We were able to find new flowers all the way into June.
