Swedish Days Pizza Booth!
UU Society of Geneva
Swedish Days is almost here, and we need your help! Our Pizza Booth isn't going to run itself (we checked), and without volunteers, we're just a gazebo with a dream. So come help us serve up hot pizza, legendary meatball subs from Josef's, popcorn, cold drinks, and sandwiches.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: one two-hour shift. You'll be pouring sodas, making change, and quite possibly becoming the most popular person at the booth. You'll bond with fellow UUSGers, maybe pick up a new skill (turns out "meatball sub handler" looks great on a résumé), and have a genuinely good time doing it. Busy-shift person? Grab a mealtime slot and embrace the chaos. More of a "I like people but not all at once" person? Morning or mid-afternoon has your name on it. Kids can join in too, as long as they can count change, follow the rules, and handle hot food.
Sign up for one shift or go full hero mode and grab a few at uusg.org/swedish-days.
And if booth life isn't your thing, we've got a very cushy alternative: picking up pizzas from Charlie Fox's and delivering them to the booth. It's volunteering with air conditioning and a playlist of your choosing. We won't tell anyone you took it for the A/C.
We can't wait to see you there—come for the cause, stay for the pizza. (But seriously, not during your shift.)
