UU Wellspring Article II Class
7-9 pm on four Mondays:

This class will be co-facilitated by the Rev. Denise, Interim Minister at Countryside Church UU, Palatine, IL & the Rev. Scot Hull, Senior Minister at UU Society of Geneva, Geneva IL, to give us a taste of what it is like to discuss the UU Values in community with another neighboring congregation. Plus, we may make new friends while deepening our faith. The four sessions will focus on:
Session 1: Covenant
Session 2: Purpose, Inspirations, Inclusion and Freedom of Speech
Session 3: Love
Session 4: Six Values: Interdependence, Justice, Equity, Generosity, Pluralism, and Transformation
The UU Wellspring format was created to allow Unitarian Universalists to personally engage and respond to the Proposed Article II draft with the support of your UU community. The 2023 amendments are included throughout this program to deepen your understanding of Unitarian Universalist Theology. Your reflections on the materials will offer you the opportunity to take a deeper dive than simply reading and reacting. Each week, you will be emailed a package to prepare for the following session.
